hyaline cartilage:-
perichondrium with outer fibrous and inner layer is seen.
-territorial and inter territorial matrix is seen.
elastic cartilage:-
perichondrium with outer fibers and inner cellular layer is seen.
-matrix contains elastic fibers.
white fibrocartilage:-
-perichondrium is absent.
-it is made up of bundles of collagen fibers.
cardiac muscle:-
short cylindrical branched fibers are seen.
-nucleus is oval and centrally placed.
-intercalated disc is seen
sympathetic ganglia:-
covered by a thin connective tissue capsule.
-ganglion cells are seen in between the scattered nerve fibers.
spinal ganglia:-
covered by a thick connective tissue capsule.
nerve fibers are arranged in the form of bundles.
human large artery .
-large artery consist of thick layer-tunica intima, tunica media and tunica adventitia
-tunica media is the thickest layer -consist of more elastic fibers and few smooth muscles.
medium sized artery :-
-medium sized artery consist of three layers
-Consist of more smooth muscles and less elastic fibers.
large vein:-
-large vein consist of three layers -tunica intima tunica media and tunica adventitia.
-tunica adventitia is thickest; it consists of smooth muscles.
thymus:-
-consist of lobules separated by incomplete fibrous septa.
Each lobule shows the outer cortex with densely packed lymphocytes and central pale medulla with few lymphocytes.
spleen:-
It is composed of red pulp and white pulp.
-white pulp consists of aggregation of lymphocytes and red pulp consists of splenic cords.
lymph node:-
outer core and inner medulla are seen
-cortex consists of lymphoid follicles and the medulla consists of medullary cords.
tonsil:-
-it is lined by stratified squamous nonkeratinized epithelium.
The surface of the epithelium shows depression called tonsillar crypts.
transverse section of bone:-
a haversian system with concentrically arranged lamellae arranged around the haversian canal is seen .
-laminae containing osteocytes are seen.
longitudinal section of bone:-
-longitudinal section of haversian system and haversian canals are seen
-laminae containing osteocytes are seen.
