immunity:-
1)innate immunity
2)acquired immunity -cell mediated
-humeral
1)cell mediated immunity:-
-T lymphocyte
-process in thymus
-long immunity
-direct attack by providing cytokines
humeral immunity:-
-B immunity
-process in bone marrow
-amount 20 %
-short immunity
-antibodies are produced against antigen
phagocytosis;-
-cell eating or engulfing of microbes
-monocytes and neutrophil
steps:-
- margination-WBC moves toward the periphery of the blood vessel
- diapedesis-WBC try to come out or squeeze from vessel by forming pseudopodia
- +ve chemotaxis-because of toxins produces by antigen microbe ,WBC moves toward the infected area
- opsinisation-microbes are covered by proteins to make it favorable to engulfing
- endocytosis-phagosome vesicle formed
- digestion:-digestion of phagosome by lytic enzymes
