hematology:-plasma protein:

hematology:-branch of physiology deals with study of body fluid connective tissue

blood:-

plasma:-

fluid connective tissue -

1)water, solid content(organic and inorganic)

2)formed elements:-erythrocytes ,leococytes ,platelets

plasmaprotein present in the plasma there are four types.

types:-

1)albumin:-major quantity, total quality of plasma protein

6-6 gm%(100 ml of blood)

-4-4.5.gm% and weight 6900 daltons -smallest molecule weight

-collidalosmotic protein

2)globulin:-half of albumin

-globular shaped protein

-IgG,IgA,IgC

quantity:-2.5-2.28 gms molecular weight

molecularweight:-4300000 daltons

3)fibrinogen:-0.3 gms-fibrin thread

molecular weight -340000 daltons

4)prothrombin:-0.1gmsd

-blood coagulation

immunoglobulin:-

it provides immunity and antigen

types:-

IgA -tear ,saliva,surfactant

2)IgD -synthesis from b lymphocytes-humeral immunity

3)Ige produced in allergy condition

4)igG-immunity to the foetus throuh placenta

5)igm -microbes invades to the infection

functions of plasma protein:-

1)fibrinogen and prothrombin -role:-helps in blood coagulation

ii)globulin-provides immunity against antigen by providing anti bodis

iii)albumin-collidal osmotic pressure of blood ,helps in maintaing

iv)protein-protein -protein reservoir during starving

buffering action;-plasma protein can regulate PH

plasma  protein +WBC -triphone -to repair injured tissue
